I’m usually a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, but I do love getting dressed up sometimes! And now that spring is in full swing, the season of pretty dresses has officially begun! Whether it’s dressing in my Sunday best, or a nice casual sundress for the beach, and everything in between, I feel like you can shop forever and never run out of options. With Easter around the corner, I figured now is the perfect time for some dress inspo!
I decided to do a little round up of the cutest dresses for the upcoming season, including new trends as well as some classics. I tried to only find styles under $50, so everything is pretty affordable (which is important in my book). I just recently discovered lulus.com, and although I’m currently waiting for my first order from them, I’m probably going to be a frequent shopper because I could browse their pages all day!

Let’s start with stripes. I’m seeing them all over the place! It’s not exactly a new trend, but it definitely came back in a big way! I love that you can make it casual or dress it up with stripes, depending on accessories.
Off the shoulder. This seems to be the biggest trend currently! Which totally makes sense, because it’s just so fun! A great way to mix modern and vintage styles!
Cold shoulder is another fun one. It’s similar to off the shoulder of course, but you can actually wear a normal bra with most of them (Score!). These can totally take a look to the next level.
Floral, a classic spring trend that never goes out of style, at least in my opinion.
Lace. Another classic! I think at least 40% of my dresses are lace, because they just work so well for every occasion, and pretty much during every season.
Pastels or bright colors. Kind of self-explanatory, because when we think of spring, bright colors is what we visualize.
Denim is currently a pretty popular trend and I’m definitely loving it!
We did an Easter photo session with Little M recently (see post here), and I snuck in some solo shots with my pretty lace dress from H&M.
