As a first time mom, I always wanted to make sure to have everything I might possibly need for my baby, especially if we needed to leave the house. I’ve just always preferred to be over prepared rather than under prepared.
Since then, I’ve learned that I don’t really need 5 outfit changes for my little dude, or ALL of his favorite toys and activities. Still, even with just the basics (diapers, wipes, spare shirt, and snacks), you need something to carry it all in.

I started of with a decent diaper bag, but it looked like a diaper bag, and I didn’t like that. Not too long ago I upgraded to a diaper bag that looks like a regular handbag, but still has all the pockets and stroller clips, so I can use it beyond the diaper years.
Since then, I’ve also been using a few of my purses for my diaper bag needs. There are plenty of regular handbags that can be used during AND after the baby years, so I decided to round up some of my favorites that would work as a “diaper bag” without sacrificing style.
You can also add an insert to stay extra organized with different compartments and pockets for all your baby and mama needs.
